As much as we enjoyed our holidays here at Providence Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, holiday traveling is always quite the production. When you throw in the kids, the dog and all the presents that you'll give (and inevitably receive), sometimes you might as well be driving in a clown car. But thanks to our parent automaker, it might not be long before we have more storage space than ever before.

Just recently, the brass at Chrysler filed a patent that will reportedly improve upon their Stow 'n Go minivan seats.

From what we've gathered, the new design sees the second-row seats fold first before going in the floor. This means drivers will no longer have to move the front seats forward in order to stow the second row, and it will also make way for a flat floor thanks to the addition of two pieces that are hinged to the floor and seat back.

If this is all coming as news, then you might be surprised to learn that the engineers behind this new arrangement have been cooking it up since December of 2011. As for the models you can expect to find the new Stow 'n Go seats in, you've got the Chrysler Town & Country and the Dodge Grand Caravan.

So until these new buckets make their way to our dealership sometime in 2015, feel free to experience the ample room that resides within our lineup with a test drive here in Quarryville, PA. You've got a lot to look forward to.
